Final Computer Class

Today is the last day that we ues the computer lab. I'm not good at computer, but I like lesson in computer lab.
After this class, I want to practice my English pronunciation. In Canada, I often couldn't communicate to my host families or shop stuffs because of my not good pronunciation. I think I should try to talk to many foreign students and teachers, and check my pronunciation. I also think that I should use many useful tools like Google. I like this class. I like les, too. I think this class is the funniest class.

About Nanaimo

Yesterday, I went to downtown in Nanaimo.
I saw a lot of old houses. All of those were very cute, but dangerous. Many old houses burned. I also saw a funny tree, called monkey tree. Its shape is like monkey tail. There are many kind of restaurant in there. I like to walk around there.

A Clever Cow

A farmer had a cow. The cow was very clever, but the farmer didn't know that.
One day, the clever cow thought of a trick. The cow stood up, and rang a doorbell. Then, the cow ran back to the garden immediately, and feigned ignorance about it.
After that, the farmer came out of the house. He found nobody except the cow. He had never dreamed that the cow could ring the doorbell, so he didn't notice it.


This story tells us that people shouldn't be tied to preconception.

Difference Between Japan and Canada

In Japan, buses are very punctual. In Canada, they are not punctual. So sometimes I waited for the bus with anxiety. However, bus drivers in Canada are very friendly, so I like them.
I also think Canada kind for people who use the wheelchair.

Weekend

I went to Woodgrove Mall on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, I went to there with two Chinese girls who stayed at same house. They left Canada on Sanday, so we wanted to make many memories. We ate lunch at mall and they bought some souvenirs. We went back to our house at 5:00. Then, our host parents take us to a humberger restaurant, and we ate very very big humberger!! I couldn't finish, but it was good.

On Sunday, Iwent to there with my Japanese friends, Yukiko and Mika. We enjoyed shopping, and talked a lot. I bought a clothe and a key chane. It was very fun.

I enjoy my life in Canada :)

First Diary

I'm Azumi Wada.
I'm from Japan, and I study English in VIU now. I homestay at Jones' house. They are very kind and friendly, so I enjoy evryday life. There are two chinese students in their house, and they are also nice.
In Japan, I live in Nagoya, and I study English in Nagoya University of Foreign Studies. I'm a member of touch football club. Our team's name is "Nitoro Hawks". I like my teammates very much.
